Somewhere south of the Mason-Dixon line, there’s a beat—a rhythm that thuds in the heart and soul of the south. A beat that surrounds late night bonfires, starry skies, and muddy tires. A beat that resounds in every bar, every car, and every person who’s ever taken a dirt road.

That beat, which fuels the revolution of Country music, also resounds in the music of Olivia Albertson. Coming from the heart of North Carolina, Olivia Albertson not only knows this beat, but she writes it. With a voice as bright and smooth as a summer breeze through dixie, and lyrics that are straightforward and lighthearted, Olivia’s music is spirited with the soul of the south.

Olivia Albertson’s music is the soundtrack to the perfect

southern night, complete with pure vocals and southern country influence.

Olivia was born in Thomasville, NC to Rosa and Allen Albertson. She grew up surrounded by music, taking in as much as she could as she grew up. Studying piano from the age of six, Olivia is prolific on the keys, and has studied guitar and vocals for eight years.

As she began classes at Catawba College, her style of music evolved, turning from sweet, smooth country to a fiery mix of country and rock that cannot be imitated.
